Trip Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m)
Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day exploring the lively streets of Thamel and preparing for the trek ahead. In the evening, meet your guide for a trip briefing.
Day 2 — Fly to Lukla, trek to Phakding (2,610 m)
Take a scenic flight to Lukla (2,840 m), then begin trekking through forests and villages to reach Phakding along the Dudh Koshi River.
Day 3 — Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)
Follow the river and cross suspension bridges before a steep ascent to Namche Bazaar, the main Sherpa hub of the region.
Day 4 — Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)
Spend the day acclimatizing. Optional hikes to Everest View Hotel or Khumjung village offer stunning views of Everest and nearby peaks.
Day 5 —Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860 m)
Trek through rhododendron forests and enjoy views of Ama Dablam before reaching Tengboche, home to a famous monastery.
Day 6 — Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410 m)
Descend through forests, cross rivers, and ascend into alpine terrain to reach the village of Dingboche.
Day 7 — Acclimatization Day in Dingboche (4,410 m)
Take a rest day with optional hikes to Nagarjun Hill or Chhukung Valley for acclimatization and panoramic views.
Day 8 — Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940 m)
Trek along glacial moraines with views of surrounding peaks. Pass memorials dedicated to climbers before reaching Lobuche.
Day 9 — Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m) and return to Gorak Shep (5,164 m)
Trek to Gorak Shep, then continue to Everest Base Camp. After exploring, return to Gorak Shep for the night.
Day 10 — Hike to Kala Patthar (5,545 m), trek to Pheriche (4,240 m)
Early morning hike to Kala Patthar for sunrise views of Everest, then descend to Pheriche.
Day 11 — Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)
Retrace your steps through Pangboche and Tengboche, descending back to Namche Bazaar.
Day 12 — Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,840 m)
Continue descending through forests and villages, returning to Lukla.
Day 13 — Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu (1,400 m)
Take an early flight back to Kathmandu. Enjoy a free day to relax or explore.
Day 14 — Departure from Kathmandu
Transfer to the airport for your departure.
