Trip Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m)
Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day exploring the lively streets of Thamel and preparing for the trek ahead. In the evening, meet your guide for a trip briefing.
Day 2 — Drive to Besisahar, then to Chame (2,670 m)
A scenic drive from Kathmandu takes you through river valleys and terraced hillsides to Besisahar. From there, continue by jeep along the Marsyangdi River to reach the mountain town of Chame, the gateway to the Annapurna re
Day 5 — Acclimatization Day in Manang
Spend the day adjusting to the altitude. Optional hikes include visiting Gangapurna Lake, the Ice Lake viewpoint, or the ancient Braga Monastery. Enjoy the vibrant mountain culture of Manang.
Day 6 — Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4,050 m)
Leaving Manang, the landscape gradually changes to alpine terrain. The trail climbs slowly through grazing lands and small settlements until reaching Yak Kharka, where yaks often graze in the high pastures.
Day 7 — Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,525 m)
A steady climb leads to Thorong Phedi, the base camp for the Thorong La pass. The surrounding landscape becomes rugged and dramatic as you prepare for the highest point of the trek.
Day 8 — Cross Thorong La Pass (5,416 m) and Trek to Muktinath (3,760 m)
Begin early for the challenging ascent to Thorong La Pass, the highest point of the trek. From the pass, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views before descending to Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists.
Day 9 — Drive from Muktinath to Tatopani (1,200 m)
Travel through the dramatic Kali Gandaki Valley, the deepest gorge in the world. Arrive at Tatopani, famous for its natural hot springs—perfect for relaxing tired legs.
Day 10 — Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani (2,850 m)
The trail climbs through terraced farmland and rhododendron forests to reach the picturesque village of Ghorepani, known for its incredible mountain views.
Day 11 — Sunrise at Poon Hill and Trek to Tadapani (2,630 m)
Wake early for a hike to Poon Hill, one of the best viewpoints in the Himalayas, where sunrise illuminates Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Afterward, trek through beautiful forests to Tadapani.
Day 12 — Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk (1,940 m)
Descend through lush forests to the traditional Gurung village of Ghandruk, famous for its culture and views of Annapurna South and Machapuchare.
Day 13 — Drive from Ghandruk to Pokh
A short trek leads to the road where you drive to Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside city. Spend the afternoon relaxing by Phewa Lake and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
Day 14 — Drive or Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu
Return to Kathmandu by scenic drive or short flight. Enjoy a farewell dinner and reflect on your incredible journey around the Annapurna massif.
